WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN EMPLOYEE/USER UPLOAD AND THE UPLOADED FILES PANEL IN THE EMPLOYEE/USER FOLDER?

Employee/User Uploads versus Uploaded Files Panel

Employee/User Uploads

Definition: Employee/User Uploads refer to files and documents that are directly requested from the employee/user to provide specific information during the onboarding process. These uploads are meant to collect essential details. Each requested upload accepts one image or document.

To enable this feature, please contact your sales representative.

Usage and Access:

  • Interaction: Employee/User Uploads are accessible to the employee/user through their onboarding account access only. They can add the files directly into the designated upload sections.

  • Limitation: These uploads are specific to the employee/user, enabling them to provide necessary documents such as identification, certifications, or other requested information.

  • Control: The employee/user has the flexibility to access and update these uploaded files anytime they log into their account.

Uploaded Files Panel (in the Employee/User Folder)

Definition: Uploaded Files in the Employee/User Folder encompass a broader range of files and documents. These files can include documents uploaded by the HR Staff or HR Admin. While Employee/User Uploads are also listed in this section, additional files that are not necessarily requested from the employee/user can be found here as well.

Usage and Access:

  • Divers Sources: Uploaded Files can originate from HR Staff or HR Admin.

  • Employee/User and Staff Uploads: Employee/User Uploads appear in this section. Additionally, files uploaded by HR Staff or HR Admin for record-keeping purposes can be found here.

  • Limited Employee/User Access: Unlike Employee Uploads, files uploaded by HR Staff, HR Admin, or others are not directly accessible or manageable by the new hire.
